This position will share 24-hour, on-call duties with the other RAs on a rotating basis. Candidates should have a flexible schedule to allow for changing situations and be able to adapt to unplanned events and re-prioritize work schedule to receive calls during the overnight hours or go into work for emergency issues that may occur overnight, weekends or holidays. The RA could potentially ‘cover’ any DSP shifts in the event of a ‘call out’, so the candidate should be adaptable to these situations when they arise.

AS or BS degree in Human Services, Social Work or other related field is required. CRMA and DSP certifications are required.  Prior experience directly supervising DSP staff is also required.  Familiarity with Special Olympics is a plus.  Qualifications also include having a personal vehicle which can seat up to four people comfortably, has working seat belts, auto liability insurance and is available for use 24/7.  Driver’s License needs to be in good standing. Candidates will need to pass a pre-employment background check including: Criminal check, DMV check, APS check and professional reference check.

A full benefits package is available on the first of the month following 30 days in the RA position.  Benefits are paid in part by the employer as well as the individual.  Any or all of the employee benefits are elected by the employee at the time of their eligibility. AA/EOE
